Awakening is an interactive work in which viewers activate sound by directing a flashlight at individual symbols. It is printed with a 3D-pen with PLA filament with electronic elements attached. The piece functions as a living instrument: each viewer becomes a performer through interaction. As patterns within the symbols are discovered, hidden sounds are revealed. The installation can be experienced as a network of breathing, responsive creatures that react when exposed to light. Through exploration, the viewer composes—learning, triggering, and shaping the sonic environment in real time.
