Jia Zeng works across installation, sculpture, and digital media, exploring the intersection of visual programming, electronics, and 3D-pen-printing, treating sound and image as "living systems"—responsive, layered, and in constant flux. She seeks to create interactive, self-autonomous artworks that dissolve traditional frames and generate their own evolving systems.

Her work functions as a network of breathing entities that respond to vibration, flow, and feedback. By visualizing these invisible processes, Zeng invites viewers to transition from observers to performers.

Through real-time interaction, they trigger and reshape the environment, adding layers of fluidity and internal complexity to the composition. She compares the experience to eating soup: at times, one takes a full spoonful, experiencing the collective whole; at others, attention narrows to a single ingredient. Her practice investigates the connections between these individual elements, the vessels that contain them, and the interplay of the entire system.
